Place your bets!

The King Lives!!

King Keith is coming out of retirement to awe us with his athletic prowess, sport skilz, and overall greatness.

This should be good.

He's a stud.

Watch out Corporate America.

But just humor me by voting in the poll on my sidebar.
Dinner at Joe's Stonecrab is up for grabs.

Tuesday Tell All is Back. Yea!

Five Words that are important to me.

Kindness

Respect

Testimony

Memories

Adventure

These are NOT the MOST important words in the dictionary to me.  Five words are not enough to hold all the emotions, descriptions, testimonies and translations of the things I hold most important.
But I really love those five words.

I think about the 4 people that mean the very most to me (with the rest of my extended family being just a breathe away from my loving them as much) and these are the words that I hope I represent to each and every one of them.

That somehow if you were to scramble all the letters and then spread them back out.  No matter how they fell, they would spell...I Love you.

He chose me!

Once upon a time,
many years ago on this very night the magic began!

Heavenly Father blessed my life with a handsome, witty, smart, kind, tenderhearted, strong, hardworking, honorable companion.  I was then and even more now-truly lucky!

This sexy, too cool for school, delicious hunk is mine forever!
I thought marrying the man of my dreams was the best day of my life.
Our story only got greater from there.

I can't wait to see what our future together holds!

Keith-
You are everything to me,

To be married
to a noble man
who is also my best friend
is a blessing.

To be married
to a stunningly handsome man
who just so happens
to be the great love of my life
is a miracle.

You are my blessing,
my miracle,
my everything,
my husband.
that was copied straight out of a Hallmark card :)

Happy Anniversary Lovey!

My Fave Five

Here's a little photo update of what my favorite five people in the world are up to this week..

I love them.
Jake has a new area.  He is in the big city of Guayaquil.  He has been in the country and small towns his whole mission.  He's now a zone leader.  He's my Rono-man!
Having a daughter in law is awesome.  Tiffany is lovely, funny, smart, and a perfect addition to our little family.  I love her.  She's the best Pinochle partner.  We Rock!

Keith and Alec cracked me up all weekend.  They both are so smart.  Sometimes they are smart-alecs (teehee great family joke).  Sometimes smart mouths.  (KAR) But I love to listen to their highly intelligent conversations.  I love them.
We love to have adventures with these two.  It's loads of food, laughter and memories EVERY single trip.

I miss Jake.  I pray he is okay every day, several times a day.  I know he is wrapped in Heavenly Fathers care.  But I miss him in our family photos and adventures.  269 days until the my Fave Five are reunited again.

All wrapped up in Love

I finished up Alec and Tiffany's Christmas present last week and delivered it to them. Yes, it is March. But did you notice the part about "I finished" it. That doesn't happen all that often with my projects.

I love this particular project because I started it and made most of it under the watchful care of my mom. She "oohed" and "aahed" at all the appropriate times. She guided me through a few confusing parts in the instructions. But mostly she was a cheering section. I miss my mom. But when I look at that quilt I will always have the memory of her proud smile.

Every single stitch in this adorable creation was done with tender sweet thoughts of Alec & Tiffany. I love those two kids more than words can say. I just hoped that they would love it. I imagined them snuggling together on chili nights studying, watching TV, making out. (Come on now...I'm a romantic at heart) Maybe laying one or two (3 or 4 or 5) new little babies on a softened by wear quilt. Sitting on the grass watching toddlers play at the park. Oh you can see where all these thoughts took me.

I was also excited because it is the first all by myself quilt. Start to finish. My sister has been teaching me so much about this quilting stuff. She is amazing. I thought I would put some of her lessons to work. I'm excited about the outcome!

So what do you think?
I love it!

Merry Christmas Alec & Tiffany!

Living the dream in Ecuador.

Boys at any age cannot resist a mud puddle.
